Self-care tips for folks of color: Bless and nourish the child of color living within you. This includes reading books written by authors that look like you, joining exercise classes given by instructors that look like you, watching movies and television with casts that look like you, attend festivals that celebrate your heritage, find a doctor that is a person of color. Is this making sense? Build that child up by surrounding them with the presence and love of your community of origin.
